Master Z's fighting style, and attitude is so much more intense than Ip, so it was fun to see some really let loose with the Wing Chun style. The bar sign fight was particularly cool. They make use of certain set pieces in creative ways. I wouldn't say it's as good as any of the Ip Man movies, but certainly along the same lines, and definitely feels part of that same universe.Īs you'd expect from Yuen Woo-ping, the action, and fight choreography was excellent.
